I have built Ultrasonic Range meter using 8051 MCU, the Ultrasonic transmitter is making "beep" sound? plz Hlp?

At first the circuit was going well and the distance was shown. but suddenly it started malfunctioning, and i noticed that the Tx was making very low "beep" sound. Is that transmitter problem???
