When should I convert to Judaism?

Hi there, I'm a ger [convert to Judaism]. It seems you are making a good start. Of course, the question you have to answer for yourself [because the Rabbi will ask it anyhow] is: Is this Judaism 'thingee' driven by your love of G-d and Torah or by your relation with the boyfriend. Until you can answer that, truthfully and in full integrity, you can't even consider conversion. But after you have, you might want to get in contact with other gerim for more exploration of how and why.
