Menopause!?

I am 49. I am sure I am going through "menopain!" I am having hot flashes, which is normal. I have written down each time I have one and how long they last. I have found that each one lasts between 2 and 5 minutes, which is a very long time to feel that way! My question is.......each one is between 30 and 60 minutes apart, is this normal? I am having at least 30 in a 24 hour period! Thanks.
