Isn't the 'Progressive' insurance company the opposite of progressive?

I just saw a commercial with the progressive wench 'Flo', and it just dawned on me: 'Hey! This 'Progressive' company is really a conservative, ruthless insurance company whose only goal is to make as much money as possible while giving as little in return as possible.
