What is so bad about banning playground games?

Oh, kids won't kill themselves. My 3 year old brother does back-flips off the couch with my sister, and if he falls he'll say "ow! it hurts!" kiss himself better, laugh, and go do it again. Fresh air is good for children and the sun actually provides vitamin C or something. Plus they learn social skills by playing with other children.
