Dietary problem...fast food causing high blood sugar?

Abs light 'on': '05 Maxima?

I own a 2005 Nissan Maxima with approx 61,000 miles. The ABS and Brake lights came on and stayed on. When I shut the car off and re-started it 5 minutes later, the lights did not come back on. There is this one man I met on his business trip to my country. I was getting over my ex which broke up with me 3 months prior and thought I was never going to get over the heart break. I have a B freshman year in history, a B sopre year in history, and I might be getting 2 or 3 B+'s this year in Spanish, AP Language and POSSIBLY AP US History. Through junior year I will have a total of 6 APs. I am more of a science and math guy though. I have taken the highest level courses for each cl, skipped pre-calc, and doubled up on AP sciences. In science and math I always get A+s. I plan on taking 5 APs next year. As far as extracurriculars, in I'm in science olympiads. I compete in teh ecology event and got 1st place at the regional finals (out of 63) and 5th at states (out of 49). In mathletes I was selected to participate in this county tournament. I placed 16th of 190 (all juniors in high school). I've done math research. Discovered an algorithm. Got 1st place at a competition (out of about 500 I think). I've done marine biology research over the summer at USC. I'm doing some research right now. And I just got into a summer research program that accepts less than 15% of its applicants. I think my resume is pretty strong, but I'm afraid my SAT score and GPA might hold me back. What do you think?

The biosphere and biosphere 2 project both failed. Partly due to human interaction problems but also the first time around there were oxygen issues. I don't know the specifics but I am thinking they had plenty of plants but maybe not enough humans to exhale enough carbon dioxide to match the plants or something? Or maybe they needed more plants? Either way a ship or station would need enough plants and the ability to produce proper light for the plants which would be no easy feat. I have to ume the energy would have to be solar based which means if the ship left the range of the sun they would run out of power. One thing is for certain the earth and sun will not last forever so in order for humans to perform deep space exploration we would need a 100% working hibernation system that can freeze all cell aging or a way of getting energy without needing the sun.

My sons top right central incisor is coming in crooked, because of the lateral, will it straighten out?

My son is seven and he lost both top central incisors. The left one came in fine but the right one is coming in crooked because it is hitting the right lateral incisor. Will this straighten itself out once the lateral incisor falls out and makes room? There is a hugh space between the two top central incisors. Is this a good Halloween idea?

I dont have any children, but I thought incorporating childrens tv characters into Halloween this year would be cute. my yard is all decorated in Disney, Elmo, Barney, etc..halloween ornaments , some of it is kid friendly, some of it a little spooky but not bad. we really went all out this year. I am 49. I am sure I am going through "menopain!" I am having hot flashes, which is normal. I have written down each time I have one and how long they last. hear me out before i get all the fraud enlistment bs. i know what i did. and i know that it was wrong. otherwise i would not be asking this. i enlisted in the army 2 months ago and lied about having a expunged restraining order from when i was 16. i was nervous didn't know much about enlisting and didn't want it to effect me, and also i enlisted in the marines a year ago b4 a lie from my marine recruiter made me op for a different branch. but anyway he drilled it into my head that i should not bring up my retraining order problem at meps i asked him multiple times and he said it would not be a problem. now in the army dep i dont leave till february 23 and i want to bring this up bc a restraining order does not effect enlistment unless it has a domestic violence charge with it which mine does not. im wondering how going about this will work.. will it go in my favor and they will ask me questions about it realize it was not serious and p it off. or will it halt my enlistment right there... i really want to enlist, should i bring up that my ex marine recruiter drilled into my head that i should not bring it up (and ino i made this action on my own and that no matter what my recruiter told me i should have brought it up) i just dont want to pour my heart out making it through basic and at the end be sent home bc of not bringing it up b4 i left. joining the military has been a life dream. please anyone with advice about this help?

I am a libertarian, but I'm new to politics and was discussing how to deal with the mive loss of capital that's creating unemployment with my friend today. My friend said he doesn't believe in globalization and the US should put very high tariffs on imported goods. I told him this will encourage companies to hire here, BUT this will severely rise the low cost of imported goods that Americans enjoy. Raising the price of goods in combination of a devalued dollar will further lower the living standards of citizens. I believe globalization *is* good on a global scale (obviously) in that it improves the lives of citizens in poor countries abroad and it doesn't necessarily mean Americans will suffer. I told him my idea was to rid the heavy regulations of potential small businesses that's currently discouraging Americans from starting businesses here. I also said lowering taxes would be a good idea as it would allow more free funds to hire workers. In addition, unions should NOT be mandatory but rather, collective bargaining should be practiced so the owners won't have to fear too much power from unions that makes them want to outsource. My last idea I proposed was to bring the US back on the Gold Standard so world banks won't have the extra devalued money to aculate mive trade deficits and outsource labor. Is this legal for an apartment landlord to do?

My boyfriend and I are leasing an apartment in Tempe, AZ. However, we have moved out because there are many things around the area that have proven to be unfit to raise 2 young boys around. We're still paying rent, we still have electricity on at the apartment. The landlords have been haring us like CRAZY!! We have a co signer on our apartment and they call him almost daily. Help! In a bad economy, what grad major should I choose?

ok so I graduated college in 2007 and got a degree in History. I tried teaching and that fell apart. Now I'm working at a clothing store to pay the bills. I am a former chef and have cooked my share of domestic and wild duck and it cook much like a chicken, but like the one fellow said it is a bit more fatty, so elevate it to let the fat render off, sauces, I like to make a nice one with canned cranberry sauce, melted with orange juice and bit of zest and port wine, orange sauce for someone who is not familiar with it can be complicated, the cranberry one is a simple and taste one, if you have no port, red wine with a bit of sugar is fine, just melt the cranberry sauce with the wine and orange juice slowly in a small pot, then add the grated orange zest, do this before squeezing the juice out, it is hard after that. I should also say duck is all dark meat, abit more like turkey than chicken in flavour and colour when cooked.

My mom just had her baby shower yesterday. The hostess of the shower requested that the guests buy more practical gifts than clothing items, yet every guest brought an outfit for the baby. Tainted dog food?

I posting a question on here about my mastiff being sick last week. well I took him to the vet and they did all kinds of tests and the only thing they found was a bacterial infection. I was wondering we put him on purina one lamb and rice dry dog food saturday and then wednesday he got deathly ill and almost died. He was pooping blood and vomiting but the vet took care of him and he is doing better. He is drinking water and eating broth and baby food right now until he is better. could that dog food of caused it? I looked on the recall list and its not on there, is there a way I could get the food tested? is there somewhere I could send it to be tested? I am going to put him on an all natural dog food when he gets well enough to eat so I wont ever have to go through this again.

But, if this is true then why are some animals only found on certain continents. You could say they migrated throughout Europe and Asian then into Africa. Then crossed the land bridge into North America and then into South America. But,what about the animals such as the Kangaroos and Koala that are only found in Australia. There is no way they could have gotten from Eurasia to Australia. And there is no possible way that Eurasia and Australia were connected in the time frame of 5000 years or so then drifted apart. Not her "Please walk on me" sticker on her head. Explain that in the end she will help destroy herself and it's very unhealthy to her well being and to the people around her. Point out the fact that she knows it's unhealthy, when she has kids, does she want her kids learning to let people walk all over them..
